I've been charged with sourcing a high quality expression of Isle of Jura. Budget is preferrably under £100 but an extra £20-£30 is manageable if worth it. It can be either an independent or official bottling but given availability is important obscure and/or historic bottlings from single casks might be a bit challenging.

Any thoughts? The remit probably doesn't include the standard range (which is just about to be reshougled) but if there is a consensus for say the 21yo then that'll do. Just to make it slightly easier/more particular if it came from an active cask where the wood/previous occupant has had a say in the character that would be ideal.

The next tasting: Kilderkin, Thursday April 12th 'Fabulous 50s". Tenuous! But hosting a tasting of 50yo whiskies isn't too realistic. Having said that we'll try a 50yo 1967 Delord Armagnac 40%. All the bottles are 50cl: Nikka Straight from the Barrel high strength blend, Windsor 17yo (allegedly the first "super-delux" brand of Scottish whisky) and Elements Peat 45% + another yet TBC.
