Another bottle of Glendronach 15yr Revival has been emptied. A sad time. One of my favourites. Next will be a Battlehill 22yr Bladnoch at 46%. Tastes better if it sits in the glass for a half hour. Very grassy.

I am afraid I have been remiss in posting my own notes on Martin’s recent Whiskybroker releases as gout pains the foot and numbs the senses.
What I can say is that I have tried most of them, the Glenburgie, Glentauchurs, Glen Moray, Tullibardine (bourbon cask) and the peated Tobermory.
They are all excellent, and the Tobermory is peaty gem which leaves you thinking you have been chewing charcoal when you wake the following morning.
I was over at Creetown yesterday picking up some Ardmore for the Canadian contingent in June, and also picked up four bottles of 22 year old Speyside sherried, the last release from butt 32, and four bottles of the 22 year old Tobermory sherried from butt 688046, again the last of the former release.
I notice the Tobermory has not yet been listed in Martin’s shop, so keep your eye out for it appearing soon.
I have not tried the Arran, which Martin tells me is very good, and I have not yet bought any of the new grain releases, but will no doubt get round to it.

Cheers ‘n’ beers, Rab.

Anyone had any of Martin's new ones, or from the last batch? Interested in the 'laddie, the Arran and the Deanston.
