A year ago, Longmorn 16 sold for $99.99 Cdn. I was at a Whisky Festival three weeks ago and tried the new NAS Longmorn Distillers Choice at $99.99. It was mediocre at best. The Longmorn 16 currently sells for $299.99 at our local gov't regulated liquor store. My days of Longmorn drams are over. I still have a bottle of cask strength Longmorn that I got at the distillery a couple of years ago, will save it for a rainy day.

Hi Dave,
It's disappointing that you are not impressed by Longmorn. I always felt that it was an under-rated dram and the ones I liked were really powerful. If someone were to offer me a few casks I'd probably still jump at the chance but your comments have unexpectedly set off alarm bells.
