A quick Google search reveals some interesting articles on how the recipe was lost and the attempt to bring back Cremola Custard. Also reference to something called Ahoj Brause which is the nearest alternative to Cremola Foam - you can buy it on line, apparently. If anyone decides to do that I'm sure we'd be interested in a report on the tasting (including the Woodruff flavour)!
There cannot be many forums on the internet which do not have threads about Creamola Foam. I loved the stuff, but it begs the question. Had it not disappeared from the shelves when it did, would it still be as wonderful as we remember it now? Cheers, Rab.
